StarGate, The Next Generation in Automation. |
Here is the inside of my StarGate with a lot of stuff hooked up.
Along the top are digital inputs. StarGate has 16 opto-isolated digital inputs that can be setup for switch or voltage input. For example, the first three inputs are dry switch contacts for doors and the fourth input is a voltage input from my doorbell. Across the bottom are relay outputs. There are 8 relay outputs with NO and NC connections. I use them to route audio through specific speaker zones in my house. Next are eight analog inputs. I use three of them for temperature sensors. I sense the outside, inside, and garage temperatures. I use the outside temperature in conjunction with the irrigation control. Cool device that allows StarGate to output text to a TV check it out. There are many different ways to have users interact with StarGate. I use mini keypads, and 6400 wall keypads, as well as the telephones.
