Our New 1971 Airstream Safari
This is our new '71 Vintage Airstream Safari. We purchased it (July 2, 2001) in Northern California. As you can see from the beginning pictures its going to be a lot of work to get it ready. The front two windows are missing and none of the appliances work.
One of the reasons I bought it is because the drive train had been gone through by a RV dealer and the seller had all the invoices showing what was done.
The plumbing seems to be in good condition, except the bathroom sink is plugged. It has A/C, and an awning, but they probably need to be replaced!
We are very thankful to some great Airstream sites that have helped and will help even more now!
