Cabinet Work
Before
The left side of the photo shows the last owners replacement cabinet doors. These replaced the original tambour doors. These were made of thin paneling type of wood that went in the original tracks. I did not like the look or function.
After
These doors were made of 1/2 inch birch. I used self closing 3/8 inch offset hinges so the doors would fit inside the opening. I also tried to stain them to match and added about three coats of varnish.
Yes, the door on the right is wider than the left. This is so I can still service the heater under the sink!
